Orangeburg, NY: The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team posted a tough 19-3 loss today to St. Thomas Aquinas in their 2008 season opener in Orangeburg, New York. Ramapo falls to 0-1 on the year while STAC improves to 1-1.

Eveline Rutledge (Plainsboro, NJ) and sophomores Jourdan Chiavaro (Manchester, NJ) and
Sarah Clayton (Howell, NJ) each recorded one goal for the tea, while goaltenders
Diana Silva (Howell, NJ) and
Megan Tierney (Wayne, NJ) combined for ten saves in the game.
Ramapo returns to action on Monday, March 24th when they travel to Centenary College for a 4:00 PM start.
