Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team is hosting the Street Soccer NYC Team this Sunday, November 15th, at the College campus located in Mahwah, NJ.
SSUSA is a national league of street soccer teams, which grows the game in urban areas while helping the homeless and impoverished move off the street and back into education and jobs. SSUSA puts focus on a positive and active life style.
The Roadrunner team is hosting a community service project this Sunday for the homeless players. The men’s college players will be playing a friendly against the team, kick off at 2:00pm, followed by a dinner catered by the friends and families of the Ramapo College soccer program.
Some local youth club soccer players and their parents are anticipated to attend as well, donating their time, cooking skills and much needed clothing and blankets for the NYC organization.
