Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swimming team defeated the Dolphins from the College of Staten Island, 140-79. The Roadrunners improve to 2-3 overall while the Dolphins fall to 1-4.

The Roadrunners took first and second place in the 200 yard medley relay. The first place team made up of Jaclyn Bondarenko (Wayne, NJ), Megan Robb (Blackwood, NJ), Alaina Lombardi (Mullica Hill, NJ) and May Lauzon (Teaneck, NJ) out touched their teammates in 2:04.50. The second place team made up of Brenda Slazyk (Clifton, NJ), Stephanie Sinck (Bridgewater, NJ), Jenny Lo (Toms River, NJ) and Lauren Morgan (Allendale, NJ) clocked in at 2:06.24.

Chelsey Neders (Coopersburg, PA) (12:04.36), Bethany Wozniak (Bayville, NJ) (12:14.22) and Rachel Chipolone (Fair Lawn, NJ) (13:02.53) took home first, second and third place finishes in the 1,000 yard freestyle.

Slazyk and Lo finished 1-2 in the 100 yard backstroke in 1:07.65 and 1:10.51 respectively.

In the 100 yard breaststroke, Ramapo took the top three spots. Sinck took first in 1:14.65 while Robb finished in second in (1:15.34) and Caroline Colgan took third (1:16.31).

Jourdan Chiavaro (Manchester, NJ) finished third in the 50 yard freestyle in 32.02. Lauzon (59.72), Colgan (1:05.44) and Chiavaro (1:12.27) took the top three spots in the 100 yard freestyle.

The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to Coco Beach, Florida over the winter break and will take on Baldwin-Wallace College on January 8th at 4:00 PM
