Randall’s Island, NY: The Ramapo College men’s outdoor track and field team competed at the NYC Qualifying Challenge at Icahn Stadium, Randall’s Island, NY.
Rookie
Craig Van Leeuwen (Little Falls, NJ) placed fourth overall in the pole vault when he cleared the NCAA provisional mark of 4.85-meters.
Sophomore
Brendan Gareffa (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) took home a fourth place finish in the discus when he threw 45.02-meters, this mark was also an ECAC Qualifier.
The Roadrunners return to action this weekend when they travel to the 2009 ECAC Championships in Springfield, MA.
