Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team defeated the Pioneers of William Paterson University tonight, 159-99. The Roadrunners improve to 5-6 overall, 1-3 in the NJAC The Roadrunners won 10 events in the win.

The 200-yard medley relay team made up of Jenny Lo (Toms River, NJ), Stephanie Sinck (Bridgewater, NJ), Brenda Slazyk (Clifton, NJ) andLauren Morgan (Allendale, NJ) took first place with a time of 2:00.86.

Lo placed first in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:34.97 while in the 200-yard backstroke she clocked in at 2:23.24 for first place. She also took home first i the 200-yard IM in 2:23.46.

Sinck placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.58) while Slazyk took home a first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:06.41 and in the 100-yard freestyle in 57.93. She also placed first in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:05.39 while Chelsey Neders (Coopersburg, PA) finished in first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:41.01. Neders took first in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:05.55 while finishing with a time of 5:42.74 in the 500-yard freestyle good enough for first place.

Morgan placed second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.16) and second in the 200-yard IM in 2:25.70.

The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to the MET Conference Championships hosted by Rutgers University on February 19th-21st.
