Philadelphia, PA: Members of the the Ramapo College outdoor track and field team competed at the 2010 Penn Relay Carnival hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. The team also competed at the Lions Invitational hosted by The College of New Jersey.

Shaquan Brown) won the fifteen team heat in the CTC race with a time of 3:19.65. It is Ramapo's first-ever win at Penn Relays. Some competitors were Montclair State, Rowan, Cheyney, New Haven, Mansfield, etc.
Rookie
Valdir Mondesir placed fifth in the College High Jump Eastern competition as he cleared 2.07-meters (6'9.5"), which is a personal best and NCAA Provisional mark. Mondesir is currently tied for fourth in NCAA Division III.

Dillon Rodgers placed 15th overall on the men's javelin with a mark of 59.09-meters (193'10") which improves his NCAA provisional mark and is a new school record.

At the Lions Invitational, junior
Brandon Melchior broke his own school record with a mark of 49.10-meters (161'1") in the hammer throw as he placed seventh overall.

Evan Shaker qualified for ECAC Championships in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.56 while junior
Anthony Farelli qualified for ECAC's in the javelin with a mark of 57.18m (187'7")
Sophomore
Adam Lazor qualified for ECAC's in the pole vault with a mark of 4.40-meteres (14'5.25") and junior
Andrew Capizzi ran a personal best time of 9:50.28 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, which is a new school record.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to the Princeton Elite Meet on May 1st.
