Ewing, NJ: The Ramapo College men's outdoor track and field team competed at the 2010 Lions Last Chance meet led by
Jermaine Boyd's (Hackensack, NJ) school record and NCAA provisional time in the 400-meter hurdles.
Nicci Balestrieri (Belmar, NJ) placed 11th overall in the 100-meter dash in 11.07 while he placed tenth overall in the 200-meter dash in 22.34. In the 110-meter hurdles,
Boyd placed fifth overall with a time of 15.00 while he took home a first place finish in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.67.
The 4x400-meter relay team made up of
Jake Stass (Westwood, NJ),
Boyd, Talon Hogan and
Kyle Price (Milltown, NJ) clocked in at 3:21.43 for a first place finish.
Valdir Mondesir (Montclair, NJ) finished in a three-way tie for fourth place in the high jump when he cleared 1.95-meters.
Brendan Gareffa (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) placed third in the discus throw with a mark of 46.26-meters while
Dillon Rodgers (Bogota, NJ) placed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 57.56-meters.
The Roadrunners that have qualified for the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships will travel to Baldwin Wallace College in Cleveland, Ohio on May 27th-29th, 2010.
