Mahwah, NJ: The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced the 2010 NJAC Softball All-Conference teams today, and six members of the team were honored.

Senior Katie Donnelly (North Haledon, NJ) earned NJAC First Team honors after earning being named to the squad in 2009 and the second team all-conference in 2008. Donnelly has a batting average of .352 (45-128) and leads the team in runs scored with 30 while she has knocked in eight RBI. She leads the team with 22 stolen bases (22-25).

Junior Lyndsay Buehler (River Vale, NJ) earned NJAC First Team honors, her first in her career. Buehler leads the team with 132 strikeouts with only 28 walks in 122.0 innings pitched with a 14-3 overall record and 1.03 ERA. She has recorded 16 complete games with three shutouts as opponents are hitting .195 against her. Buehler was named NJAC Pitcher of the week twice this season.

Sophomore Danielle Rothenberger (Livingston, NJ) earned NJAC First Team honors, she was named to the second team all-conference in 2009. Rothenberger is the only member of the team who has started all 41 games this seas and is currently tied with a .361 batting average (44-122), and leads the team with 27 RBI. She has ripped 11 doubles, one triple and leads the team in home runs with four. She also leads the team in walks with 16 while recording a perfect fielding percentage with 40 chances in right field.

Junior Deanna Giordano (Clifton, NJ) has earned NJAC Second Team All-Conference after being named to the first team all-conference in 2009. Giordano has started in 20 games for the Roadrunners with 19 complete games and leads the team in shutouts with seven. In 124.2 innings pitched she has 105 strikeouts with only 21 walks while opponents are batting .225 against her as she boosts an ERA of 1.35.

Junior Stephanie Malgeri (Montville, NJ) earned NJAC Second Team All-Conference after being named to squad in 2009. Malgeri has started 37 games behind the plate for Ramapo while recording a .271 batting average (29-107). She has knocked in ten RBI while scoring nine runs of her own with four doubles and one home run. She is tied for second in walks with 13, and leads the team in put outs with 242.

Junior Rachel Wong (Livingston, NJ) earned NJAC Honorable Mention All-Conference team, her first career honor. Wong is currently tied for first on the team with a .361 batting average (43-119) while she leads the team with 13 doubles. She is second on the team with 22 RBI while she has scored 23 runs of her own and recorded a perfect fielding percentage in 30 chances in left field.

Ramapo return to action on Friday, May 7th at 11:00 AM as they travel to Ewing, NJ for the 2010 NJAC Softball Tournament. The Roadrunners have been awarded the home team against #1 TCNJ in a elimination game. The remainder of the bracket will be announced at the end of play on Friday evening.
