Ramapo College Athletics

Hoboken, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's tennis team fell to the Ducks of Stevens Insitutue of Technology on the road today, 9-0. The Ducks only dropped one set in the victory to pick up their first win of the season while the Roadrunners drop to 0-1.

Junior Jywel Almirante (Newton, NJ), pushed rookie Lisa Tessitore at first singles before Tessitore was able to come away with a 7-5, 4-6, 10-8 victory.

The Roadrunners return to action this weekend when they host Moravian College and Gwynedd-Mercy College starting at 10:00 AM.
