Ramapo College Athletics

West Point, NY: Rookie Elecia Cole (Hackensack, NJ) crossed the finish line first for the Ramapo College women's cross country team in their 2010 season opener at the Army Open.

Cole clocked in at 22:11.50, good enough for 34th place overall, in her first collegiate meet of her career.

Sophomore Siobhan O'Brien (Bogota, NJ) placed second for the Roadrunners and 36th overall as she clocked in at 22:23.40 while sophomore Taylor Shanley (Brick, NJ) placed 40th overall in 23:11.10.

Junior Jessica Bunone (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) crossed the finish line in 47th place overall in 25:17.90 while Lena Johnson (Garfield, NJ) placed 48th overall when she clocked in at 26:22.40.

The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to Van Cortlandt Park, NY for the Iona College Meet of Champions on September 18th.
