Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's tennis team defeated John Jay College today at the Athletic Center, 9-0. The Roadrunners improve to 5-3 overall while the Bloodhounds stand at 1-9-1 overall.

During singles action, the Roadrunners' Maegan Heaney and Karina Antequera each shut out their opponents, 6-0, 6-0, at fourth and sixth singles respectively. Sara Luby and Katrina Biss blanked their counter parts, 8-0 at first doubles while Ivy Schuckman and Antequera won at third doubles, 8-0.

Ramapo returns to action on Thursday, October 11th when they travel to NJAC rival Kean University for a 4:00pm match.
