West Point, NY: The Ramapo College men's cross country team competed in their first meet of the 2012 season at the Army Open at the West Point Golf Course.
Typically a 5,000-meter course, the route was elongated but roughly 300-400 meters for the convenience and safety of the runners.
Paul Juelis was the top Ramapo runner and top Division III runner as he placed 18th overall with a time of 18:13.
Colin English clocked in at 18:20 for 22nd place while
Peter Tuohy placed 23rd overall in 18:21.
Brothers Brian and
Pat Rochford clocked in at 18:33 and 18:52 for a 27th and 36th place finish respectively.
Tim Paziora crossed the finish line in 19:09 for 41st place while
Brendan Conway finished in 43rd place in 19:16.
Ramapo returns to action when they travel to Van Cortlandt Park, NY for the Fordham Fiasco on September 8th at 10:30 AM.
