New Haven, CT: The Ramapo College men's indoor track and field team opened the 2014-2015 season at the Yale Season Opener this afternoon.
Phillip Dowell posted a personal best time in the 60-meter dash when he clocked in at 7.16 for a sixth place finish. He also posted an ECAC Qualifying mark of 13.86-meters (45' 5.75") in the triple jump for a second place finish; he also placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.36-meters.
Kevin Diana placed second in the 60-meter dash with a personal best time of 7.02. In the 200-meter race he placed third in 22.54, both times are ECAC Qualifiers.
Juan Castro-Florez placed ninth in the long jump with a mark of 6.28-meters (20' 7") while
Michael Begen placed sixth in the weight throw with a new personal best mark of 13.75-meters.
Conor Davidson finished in 10th place in the 60-meter dash in 7.23 while he clocked in at 23.53 in the 200-meter dash for a 17th place finish.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to the NYC Gotham Cup on January 16th at the New York Armory.
