Union, NJ: The #3 Ramapo College baseball team came back to defeat #2 The College of NJ today 6-5 to advance to the 2016 NJAC Championship game. The Roadrunners (32-10-1) will take on #5 Montclair State University (23-19) at Kean University today at 4pm. The winner earns the NJAC automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
Jerry D'Andrea set the career saves record with his 10th save this season. D'Andrea worked the final entered the game following a lead off double from TCNJ in the eighth inning and recorded the final six outs to seal the win for the Roadrunners.
Jon Brignoni (5-0) earned the win in relief.
Connor Wlash drove home the go ahead run for Ramapo in the bottom of the seventh inning with a double to left field allowing
Brandon Martinez to score.
