New York, NY: The Ramapo College women's track and field team opened the 2017-2018 Indoor Track and Field season tonight at the TCNJ Indoor Opener at the New York Armory.
Mia Coleman set a new school record in the 300-meter dash when she clocked in at 42.51 for a seventh place finish.
Mikayla Sasson was right behind her in eighth place with a time of 42.60 while
Meredith Butler placed 10th in 43.09.
Amber Edwards posted a personal best time in the 60-meter hurdles in the prelims (9.32) while she placed second overall in the finals with a time of 9.37. Edwards also captured a first place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 11.75-meters.
Anna Scarpis placed second in the long jump with a mark of 5.04-meters while
Alyssa Jasuale placed fifth in the long jump with mark of 5.04-meters.
Judlynn Julceus finished in 12th place (44.04) in the 300-meter dash while
Judanicka Julceus placed 15th (45.13).
Alison Mann finished in third place in the pole vault when she cleared 2.75-meters. In the high jump,
Kayla Pituras finished in second place with a mark of 1.50-meters while
Alexandra Petruch finished tied for third place with a mark of 1.50-meters. In the 60-meter dash, Sasson placed 4th overall (8.08) while
Judanicka Julceus placed fifth (8.16).
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, January 13th when they travel to the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex for the University of Albany Great Dane Classic beginning at 10:30am.
